NYSEG / RG&E Commercial & Industrial Rebate Program — prescriptive rebates on agricultural equipment, VFDs, motors, refrigeration, and lighting. Pre-approval is optional on prescriptive measures, which is exactly why already-installed equipment can often still be claimed.

Most farms assume that if they didn't apply before buying, they missed the window. Not so.
For standard ("prescriptive") equipment, New York utilities don't require pre-approval before you purchase. That means if you installed qualifying equipment in the last calendar year and never filed, the rebate may still be claimable — as long as you act before the program window closes. And those windows do close.
